dint feel like working in the shop, as much as I desperately need to.

so I tackled the arbor by tiki torchlight...

got the fence on it, and the grapes are already clinging. they will be much happier with something to lean on...

fed the cats. bubba is now splashing in the toilet tank (the top one) she's so weird. but it's better than her dancing in the drinking water. stinky hates that...

got a cat or a possum on top of the cabin. making the roof wrinkle. gonna hafta go chase him off iff'n he don't move on soon. annoying noise...

think Ima make me some noodles and call it a night. take my meds even...

I went over to D's and planted her an elephant ear for her mom. that's what she said she would like. she's always admired mine, and I asked her what I had that she might like, rather than buying her a lily like everyone else did...

I took one of her almost dead potted lilies and planted it by the pond with my others...

one day back on the meds, and already I feel better.

much less crap to deal with this morning.

and some joker even woke me up. I forgot to pull the battery on the phone...

I like the way I sleep better on the pills. much better...

gonna go open the shop and return phone calls.

Ima go jumpstart my mower (need a damn battery) and start mowing acreage.

gonna mow til it gets dark or I can't walk. mebbe both...

got some charcoal, and a lemon.

salmon on the grill sounds aboot right...

been moving the sprinkler around.

my sunflower forest is gonna be too cool this year.

and I am trying to figure out where to put my last elephant ear.

and my hyacinth beans. they will run wild, but I gotta be careful where. they are aggressive climbers...

they didn't bother to tell me that smoky would be in testing for 4+ hours...

so I came over to mr vw's for some noodles.

and to sort out my insurance situation. it's a big game, it is.

but I'm playing by the rules they set out, and actually am paying now about what I was before the interruption.

and I have a local agent. but we haven't met yet...

now Ima go tackle the flea problem and then go hang out with smoky while he finishes up.

his bus driver said he cried when my truck wasn't there today.

I got there on the minute that I told her friday I would. no more crazy phone calling while I'm trying to sleep...

my voicemail is full.

Ima hafta check it one of these days...

got flea meds. and car insurance. and smoky took care of. and gram a hamburger and frostie thingy...

think Ima defrost the salmon I was gonna eat last night.

I need a solid meal tonight.

but I got a hella lot done out in the garden.

and tomorrow is to be a shop day...

got the easy cat dosed. dink is a challenge. he knows something is up, and now bubba stinks of medicine.

I'm prolly gonna just hafta go pick him up and rassle him into submission. I could use a third hand...

gonna keep trying to lure him in with pets for now. not gonna rassle until I eat my soup.

everything is in the ground. gonna be way cool. laid down pine bark nuggets on the path. got the little bridge outlined so I can start welding it. and tomorrow is trash day, so I started tearing down smoky's back porch. BIG mess o' trash.

going back on the meds has made a dramatic improvement on me.

almost as much as the first time.

not gonna let them make me lapse again...

now I gotta channel it and get the vert done.

then I can breathe normally again...

but the shop is in rocking shape right now, and two more mows gets the new air compressor home.

I just gotta go out there and focus...

the message says to please call them so they can send smoky home because his insurance ran out.

so he can live here until the surgeon has time to fix the hip he f*cked up.

got some phone calls to handle and some decisions to make.
