a man goes down the stree pushing a hat, stops at a building, pays some money and then continues pushing the hat, whats he doing?
it has something to do with a small metal hat
please help me, its driving me crazy

I answered your riddle, it's the game Monopoly, the hat is the player piece (small metal hat) and when you land on a hotel you have to pay money.
