Do nice shoes ALWAYS hurt?

elegant? as much as I love wearing various types of clogs, I don't think elegant is ever a word to be used when describing them

"Nice" shoes have anatomically correct designs...if they hurt they are crap.

Clogs can hurt your ears....and give you a headache
especially when they are walking back and forth in the apartment above you

Now that's certainly true!

If your choice of shoes is only based on the fact that they look nice then they will hurt. I don't consider shoes nice if they don't fit well.

agreed. wooden shoes in a wooden house is a definite no no. they are comfortable otherwise.

yes, it's about your expenditure. If you spend more on a quality shoe, then you can avoid this issue.
