My feet were stuck in cement, and there was no surgeon near by to amputate them, and while the frigid air seared the tender tissue of my lungs, would robins build nests on my head in which to lay eggs which they would then abandon?
Are we talking about "Plain Tales of the Hills" author again?
@Setanta,
No; there 's insufficient time for that.
@Setanta,
... then you'll be a man, my son.
@jespah,
Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe . . .
Wait ! ! !
Let me guess . . . "community" is the tag euphemism for taking the piss, right?
Arrgh. I cannot remember the (Japanese, VietNamese?) author who wrote a long short story wherein the punishment for certain crimes was to be buried in cement to your waist next to some main thoroughfare in the city. You could still talk, your hands were free, but no one was allowed to help you in any way. There were several such captives in every block.
The story was about the thoughts of a daughter going to visit, from afar, her semi-entombed mother.

To encourage nests, Set, have your executioners weave your hair with straw.
Joe( Try to whistle some birdsong while you wait, for nests or whatever comes next.)Nation

It woud be less kind to give the condemned all the food n water he wants.

I have always wanted to braid his hair.
Now I have a reason.
Science. It's all in the name of science.
Do you see what you've done now, Joe?
I hope you're happy now.
I will make you pay and pay . . .
@Setanta,
if your feet were stuck in cement i'd suggest it was but clay
made me laugh, joking dog k
@Setanta,
Robins be a bit skittish. Might be a chicken could want to nest up there.
what does "take the piss" mean?
also: imagine if pineapple was an animal, and lactated it's own kind of milk to nurse it's young. If you were to take some of this pineapple breastmilk, turn it into an odd cheese, then leave that hunk of cheese in a stale metal box in tropical heat for three months, very good, no?
@Setanta,
Not ENTIRELY sure it would be robins, but yes.
Cuz the site advertises "Ask questions, get answers" . . .

Thay 'd not concern themselves with that if the air were frigid.
