What would you call "Grave ofthe Fireflies"? What about anime (and manga) that's not hentai, bishouju, or "action"? What about the rest?! I'm sorry, but your "poll" is very narrowly based. No, I'm no otaku. I'm a fan, though, and I hate it when people butcher what they don't understand.

Just because it has busty girls, it diesn't necessarily make it hentai -- but I get your point. Sorry for being so critical.

im a big fan of yu yu... its great stuff. i like Dragon ball more then dragon ball z.. GT is good, but still love the DB over all the others...

well, going by categories of anime (I'm talking in terms of how they're marketed and released), there is nothing that defines "naked girl in spa" as making an anime "hentai".

Hentai titles are often quite explicit, and almost always depict sex and sexual activities. Hentai is, in its raw form, an animated version of porn (no matter how creative it sometimes gets ).


If every anime with a girl with large boobs is a hentai, the industry would be bankrupt, since so few fans (in comparison) would purchase a hentai title...

It's true that nakedness is a perverted element, but it's not enough to classify the anime as "hentai" in intention/audience/marketing etc.

I dont think anything that doesnt include nipples should even BEGIN to be classified as Hentai.

I like em all...i recently purchased Ai Yori Aoshi...its a brilliantly done romantic comedy.

Big robots would have to be my fave though...I remeber starting off with Voltron....so long ago.....

hm... anime, eh? let's see.... Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Detective Conan... but I read a whole lot more manga.

I like Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, K-on, Skip Beat, and I used to watch One Piece but I getting back into it
