Not sure if anyone here follows horse racing but what an incredible BC this year.
Upset after upset.
Dead heat for the Turf between High Chapperal and Johar.
Fab day of racing indeed.

JUVENILLE FILLIES - Julie Krone aboard Halfbridled. Way to go Julie!!! Besides being a "gurl" and making history by being the first female to win a Breeders' Cup race, she's from Jersey (East Coast)!!! Think this was her first start in seven years. Doesn't look like she was out of practice. I'm not sure about her wins any more. I think that at one time her purses had totaled $8 million. :-)
The media were concentrated on the Breeders' Cup Classic (the largest purse by twice) and Richard Mandella's four wins.[/color]
