the fellow with the real cancer (Layton) is leader of an opposition party
the other (Harper) is our Prime Minister in hiding prorogued parliament until march, hence my little joke about prostrate and lying low

he seems pretty confident, his dad went through the same thing 17 years ago and is still around, so he figures he can beat it too
