I don't know what is spookier--the fact that the guy got hit by lightning, or that he was uninjured.
(Note that an assistant director has been hit twice now while making this movie)

Given Mel's passionate participation in an ultra-montane Catholic sect, i would think he ought to take this very seriously, based upon his own preferred superstitions. Don't piss god off, she'll fry ya . . .
I could only imagine the spin Mel would be able to come up for these electrifying events. God missed? Or just a bolt warning?
