Cause.... if that is the case, I will still cheer for the Vikes. But... I will attend Bill's funeral, and I will grieve with the best of them.
Bill is not such a bad guy. Just a confused cheesehead.
Does anyone know who Calamity Jane is cheering for in this NFL competition?
@gustavratzenhofer,
No, but I'm voting for the old man - Favre.

Why the San Diego Chargers of course - they're gonna win and you all
gonna cry!
@gustavratzenhofer,
Does he walk around talking to himself?
@gustavratzenhofer,
Oh you're just looking for excuses. We know you're a Vikings fan already, and you even admitted that you like Brett now.
He's cheering for the Vikings and so am I.
My dad is too and he's a proven jinx though so we'll see.
@gustavratzenhofer,
Yes.
Ah, I see CJane responded..
I decided I agree with her.
@Mame,
Pah? That's a word I like.
You are caring about football?
@ossobuco,
Not seriously, but I have to admit I have watched a few games.
Just spotted this now. No Gus... my loyalty to Brett Favre will follow him around until he retires. It is a pity he once again had to suffer a loss at the hands of a coach who just doesn't get it. Give Brett 1st and/or 2nd down via play action, and his rating has always been in the stratosphere. Ineffective running on downs 1 and 2 results in forced passes or punts. When Brett's your QB, you pass to set up the run; not the other way around.
Brett Favre demonstrated for 300th consecutive time that he's harder than a coffin nail. I was astounded to see him practically carried off the field, only to return a limping taped up mess, and a few plays later he's fighting to retrieve Percy Harvin's fumble. "Iron man" just doesn't do him justice. Pity the only thing the haters will remember is his one bad decision during the 60 minute gauntlet.
If there's any silver lining to all the ignorant hating going on: it's liable to bring Brett back to shut their mouths again next year. After all, he is still under contract! And if Childress has any brains whatsoever; Adrian Peterson will be carrying a football around with him every minute from this day till that.
