@danon5,
Nah, in fact i'm just pretty much taking care of maintenance...painting, etc.

I'd luv to remodel the inside, but since retirement...well, ya know.

It is quite nice here though, good neighborhood and neighbors, but the best is the landscape...deer...wildlife...heaven.

All the wood furniture on the porch is next. Primer, minwax...and a super guy who helps many of our neighbors will work Wednesday for me...power washing, and replacing boards for the back porch. Then i'll primer n' paint after the repairs are done.

This afternoon plan reading and napping. Busy morning and when the heat settles, a busy evening.

Just received a super call from my sister!

You recall me asking for prayers for Alicia (injured in a car wreck) who docs said if she recovered, she'd remain in a vegitative state...

well

Alicia can walk (with the help of only one person) talks, eats, laughs, and is breaking all records for determination! Very Happy

Another concerts in the works for her fourth oxygen treatment! Can't tell you all how happy i was to hear the news!

God bless the wildclickers Very Happy

Stradee, Your prayers pack a hell of a punch. WOW, it's great your sister is doing well. That is a major achievement on her part.

@danon5,
No sweetie....my sister called me with the good news regarding Alicia Smile

My sisters dear friend is Alicia's grandmother, who calls from Florida with news regarding Alicia. Plus, we chat with Alicia's mom and dad also.

Dan, the widlclickers pack a powerful punch! I don't know why, but this group of people just make things happen. I'm amazed!

@Stradee,
It is amazing isn't it. The powerful punch saves trees and keeps them asmiling.

Sorry bout the sister thing. It is great that your sister keeps in touch with the news re. Alicia.

I'm sometimes amazed that people can finally come out of coma's - I just heard of a man who had been in a coma since the late '70's and finally came out of a coma. He was reading a current paper when he suddenly exclaimed, "Somebody changed the name of Vietnam to Afganistan!!"

@danon5,
Doctors should take better care before they declare a person will never wake/heal, etc.

Course, we never know what a soul will do, or what fate has in store...so many variables.

@Stradee,
You're very right, Stradee, this so early in the morning. I'm usually not so right this so early in the morning............ Naa, kidding - I love the mornings. Especially just before the sun rises, when it's morning twilight - then the sun begins to peek over the horizon. That's refreshing.

The variables in each of our lives are countless - if lucky, we get out of bed in the morning, prep ourselves - then, open the front door, go outside and take our chances..........(Please understand I was voted the class cynic in school) ((The replete Optimistic Pesimist --- or, the Pesimistic Optimist. hehehe, either way I'm covered by disappointment avoidance)) Grin

All clicked for another tree asmiling.......

@danon5,
So do I...mornings are beautiful just before the sun rises...coffee on the porch, watching the herd explore the yards...forest waking sounds...and yep, every day is a new beginning for lots of stuff, especially risks. scary

I luv the "disappointment avoidance" comment!! Guess as we age, taking chances is probably the last on our 'to do' list, and with good reason! Smile

Keeping my body mobile is now a concious effort where just a few years ago...well, ya know.

New boards for the porch, all power washed, cement sparkling, roof and gutters cleaned...plus the man who owns the lot next door dropped by to say he'd trim all the dead branches from the trees on his property, and also pick up and remove more than 10 years worth of pine needles.

happy camper is me Very Happy

I'm fine, thanks for asking. I don't know what happened but I was offline for two whole months. But I am back now. Working a lot outside as I was depressed last year and did nothing outside. Distributed 60 lbs of 10-10-10 fertilizer in the last couple of days and ran out. Have to find a source for more. Tomato plants are doing well.

Clicked.
