So in 28 days it will be 2010. When people talk about the year what do you think they will say?
in 2000 it was simply 2000. After that and up until this year it was 0 and the number corresponding to the specific year you were talking about.
Think that people will just say 2010 or maybe 10. Or perhaps 010?
(the things I think about when I'm watching tv.)

NPR had a bit on this. We have always said nineteen twenties, or nineteen nineties, so I think we'll call it twenty-ten. Well, at least we will eventually call it twenty-ten. It might take a few months.

i've been going with "two thousand ten", but "twenty-ten" is easier to say...

Canada is hosting the twenty-ten Olympics, so I guess I'll go with twenty-ten.
and Tranna just got the twenty-twelve games for some kind of sporting event, so there appears to be a bit of a theme there
