Chris uses a machin to help him do work. He notices that he has to put in 1000 joules of work to get out 900 joules of work from the machine. What is the machine's percent efficiency?

@ctrgirl21,
Change percent, also called delta % is the change divided by the base. This works in financial calculations, as well. That will give you the gain or loss. You would have to subtract this from 100% to get your efficiency.
