@msolga,
Just one more Graham Parker, while I'm in the mood.

Terrific period in Brit music, this! Smile

I didn't discover Patsy Cline until fairly late in the piece, but hasn't she got a terrific voice?
She's great. Perfect music for the wretched & broken-hearted! Smile

Toni Childs

I was reminded of Toni by a recent by a recent local production of the V monologues, which raised money for Vday, a global movement to end violence against women and girls.

@msolga,
i was always sort of a quiet fan (wasn't "cool" once upon a time), but in the last few years it's become quite acceptable

i think cash's use of select tunes from modern rock bands in his american recordings series really helped open the old country market

cash's cover of soundgarden's song rusty cage

Saw him with the Rumour in concert in Melbourne, yonks ago. Terrific experience! Very, very good live.

Haven't heard the live (alone) album. What vintage?

Yeah, I know. Interesting how he suddenly became "cool" wasn't it?

But I had the Folsom Prison (sp?) album when he was quite uncool. Just kept it well hidden! Wink

Thanks, djjd.
I must check it out.

Can't really imagine him without The Rumour, though. This might be an interesting listening experience!
