my problem is that whenever i start my pc my clock does not give correct time.

did you try right-clicking on the time and adjusting the date/time?

ya can keep doing that but pc clocks are all crappy, so I keep an atomic clock in my office side the big computer, and always have my cell next to my laptop.

I've had the same problem on a PC. It was always out 2 minutes, no matter what I did. Do what farmer does, it will solve your headaches.

If the system time is resetting every time you shut down your compuetr, the most likely reason would be that the battery on your mother board is dead. System time comes from the bios and that is run by the battery when the PC is off.

McG's correct. It's most likely a battery. Replacing it will help the issue.

There are also several free ware programs that will sync your computer clock with an accurate time source if you have an internet connection.
