XP Dual-Desktop Problem

Reply Fri 9 Oct, 2009 07:43 pm
Whenever I change my desktop background and the computer restarts, the image is reverted back to the one I was using previously. This has only been occuring since my last desktop change. Also, my secondary monitor is displaying the desktop image in the wrong resolution, showing only a portion of the image. However when I change the desktop image to something else, the screen displays the correct resolution.

Have tried everything, reinstalled drivers and all sorts, nothing seems to work :/

@ataraxia,
Here's just a wild guess... maybe the image file your using for the desktop wallpaper is somehow corrupt. If the desktops seem fine with another image and you reinstalled the drivers ... I kind of doubt its a hardware issue.

Try to repeat the glitches with some different wallpaper sized images.
