How long a shelf life do canned cranberries have 2 -3 years

There should be an expiration date on the can. Unless you canned them yourself. In that case they've probably already gone bad.

Good point. Who canned them is going to make a difference.
I would guess that most expiration dates are pretty conservative, though.
