ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE 2009

My ex-wife stated in a recent ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE sheet that there was an incident at my mom’s house where the child needed to be removed. The incident she is talking about took place in the fall 2006. My mother and I got into a small argument about nonsense. It just so happened that my son was visiting me for a sleep over on that particular day. My mother and I decided that my son should be picked up by his mother because it's silly for a child to be in the middle of an argument when two adults are behaving like children. My question: Is this enough for the judge to terminate my visitation rights? The incident took place in the fall 2006 but my ex-wife decided to use this reason in a recent ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE sheet 2009. After the fall 2006 incident, I was allowed to see the child until June 2009 this year when my ex-wife decided to take him away without reason. Your thoughts?

@nycfunction,
My thoughts - and I will repeat them until I am blue in the face - don't tell us, tell your lawyer.

You know, the person who gets paid for helping you with such things? The one you've given your time, money, information and files to? Yeah. That one.

@nycfunction,
How many threads are you going to use to post this and other parts as well as a thread where you post all of them? There is no way that any of us can answer your questions. Or, are they actually questions?

As Jespah has stated very clearly......your lawyer needs to deal with this....not us.

Your attitude towards your ex-wife would, in my opinion, not be of benefit to you in your quest to see your son.

@jespah,
I cannot afford a lawyer. I have no lawyer. If I had a lawyer, why would I even bother seeking advice here?

@djjd62,
Office of Legal Services - contact the Bar Association in your state.

You are looking for professional advice, and on a very important matter. You need a professional to deal with it.

@jespah,
Wow! you guys appear quite rude to this gentleman, insensitive in fact. He sounds like he really needs to find out how to protect his custody. and is very worried about being rairoaded!? you could at least give him an anticipated responses of what you think a lawyer would tell him to do, to file, to respond. Instead you are scolding him for asking more than once?!....
Wow, what's up with this site?

guess I won't post my question here afterall

@sweetsooziep,
he needs a lawyer, he's been directed towards legal aid, and given links to sites that might be able to help him, all he does is claim he can't afford a lawyer, over and over again

people get a little tired after a while

please post your question, people here will give good advice, but when that advice is ignored time and time again, well, what you gonna do
