Watching an episode of Law & order last night the lawyers mentioned the legal term, (and since I don't know how to spell it) I can only tell you how it sounds which is, Vwa deer.
What does it mean please.
@lovejoy,
Voir dire - The preliminary examination made in court of a witness or juror to determine his competency or interest in a matter. Literally, to speak the truth.
