NO , these are NOT muslim women , but well-to-do farm ladies from northern germany - just outside hamburg - wearing traditional sunday (church-going) dresses .
this area of northern germany is called ALTES LAND (the old land)
this might be one of the old churches where they would go for sunday services

Actually, the pharmacy came up after the painting of the two ladies, but I didn't get the connection either, except maybe the style of the painting? I'm not sure. But some of Hamburger's connections are a complete mystery to me (especially when there are multiple images). I'm never sure which one to make a connection with (so I usually pick one at random). Oh well.
