By the way, Bill's picture above is of one of the early in flight refueling tests for the Lockheed Martin F-22 fighter. Note the "ED" on the tail for "Experimental Design". I worked for Lockheed back when this was in the works. The plane eventually won out over Boeing's less conventional design.
