Thanks, Rod; I'm flattered! It's not that I don't appreciate modern art; it's that an amazing number of it is mangled trolleys and pieces of plastic.... did you see the programe about the 'artist' who basically destroyed everything that he had, and called the plastic bags 'art.'
Now-- Picasso and Dali` are artists that I enjoy...
Drom a good friend of mine was invited to a gallery opening in NYC. After she found some wine and a tidbit to eat she sat in one of the chairs in the middle of the room.
The artist and gallery owner were horrified as she was sitting on the art!
Dang, that came out huge. I'll delete it if anyone wants.
