Power Converters on Wind Turbines

I'm doing a hypothetical debate on whether or not building a wind turbine on campus is a "good idea." My side is trying to prove that it will be a mistake, and I'm trying to incorporate the potential risks of exposure to an electro-magnetic field from the power converter into the arguement. Is there a significant electro magnetic field produced by a wind turbine's power converter?
