How good is Oklahoma? I guess we'll alll know after this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if they scored 50+ points again this week. Bob Stoops just always seems to outcoach Mack Brown. Texas probably has more talent than OU, but it just doesn't matter, because Stoops got inside Brown's head, and will continue to do so this year, with his "best team, yet"
They'll blow out the 'Horns.
Game over by halftime.
Welcome to A2K.
thanks for the welcome. i'm a huge Sooners fan. i knew Rocky Calmus (former OU linebacke, now with Tennessee in the NFL) when he was a kid. when he went to OU, i became a fan, and i still am.
They stomped on the poor Texas Longhorns.
#1Of course, I'm a little prejudice
Ditto, BillW!
OU is definately going to beat up on Texas, and hopefully win the national championship -- don't want to jinx them by getting too cocky, though
No OU fan gets cocky
BTW, I'm the best after the fact predicter - I agree, don't wanta jinx. Predicting is a no-no!!!!!
Thanks for the responses. I'm new here, so I appreciate any small sign of acknowledgement I get.
I was really surprised at how out of hand the game got. I had hoped it would be a real test for our boys from OK. Oh well, maybe there just isn't anyone out there who CAN test them this year. Although I, too, fear getting too cocky.....maybe our boys are just THAT GOOD, this year. I guess we'll find out.
Now, we have to be extra careful next year. Ready for that "Remember The Alamo" mentality
Looks like Texas gets a chance at another Oklahoma team this weekend........
Surely you weren't referring to Texas A&M.
Of course not...
Combined Texas vs. Oklahoma scores from this past weekend:
OK 124, TX 83 (includes Tulsa's win over Rice).
