I disagree Ragman. I go to the hot springs here in CA all the time. Everyone's naked and no one cares. The same applies to nude beaches. I'm sure we've all worked out in gyms and taken showers. In Vermont nudity is perfectly legal in public. The same for San Fransisco.

Empirically, no. Though some religions including my own Judaism says even family shouldn't see each other naked. Disagree but then haven't been to synagogue in years either so...

Think hiding our nakedness away does more to cause interest in what's being hidden, than if it's all there to look at normally. Everyone loves a mystery as they say. Clothes create that mystery where lack of clothes creates none. Bikinis are a good example. Covering only the parts of a woman you usually wanna see, your eyes are drawn to what you can't see, but not the parts you can.
