How can I open a file with extension .lwp ? (answered!)

".lwp" files are created by Lotus's WordPro program (aka "SmartSuite").

The only way I know of to open them is to get your hands on a copy of WordPro. MS Word won't recognize them.

.lwp is the default format for lotus word pro.

You cannot open it with MS Word, but you can download the free Lotus Smart Suite viewer to view the file.
