My email has been playing up. It started with Incredimail getting unreliable and 'falling down' when sending e mails and then outlook started losing the server when sending emails
is it a virus?
Will uninstalling and reinstalling fix it? it came ready installed and i don't think i have a back up disc - can i download from the net?
A friend suggested it could be a virus affecting my address book ...right or wrong?
I tried taking XP back in time but i don't think it is right still.
HELP ... please?

THat exact thing is happening to me aswell. I tried uninstalling and and reinstalling it and it didn't make any difference. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the address book, well in my at least in my case because I don't use it. Well I hope there's someone here who can clear this up.
This can be as simple as connectivity issues with either the ISP or the email servers.
It can also be a matter of misconfiguration but that's unlikely unless your email server has changed their configuration since the last time it was working.
It could also be somthing else entirely. ;-)
I'd say the most probable is bad email server connection and after that bad ISP connection.
Striking hamsters mayhap.
