A bit of classical high drama, or: teen angst never really does go away (for some).

Where are they now?
The people who would weep at my grave?
Who would say, he was such a great guy,
I always enjoyed being with him,
he meant so much to me -

They would gush forth, without fear
of commitment, bother or raised expectations
Liberated, their care would flow freely,
in shared regret of more time not spent together
It's easy to be a friend of the dead.

But where are they now?
Nobody needs their tears when they're dead.

This one too. Very nice. Very recognizable childhood memory, too.

walking through the door
it opens to more
then the inside
in our hearts sins hide
where our regrets have bin died
an reincarnated
seeing our hatred
in the eyes of another
brothers
fathers
mothers
daughters
smothered
slaughtered by the pressure of persecution
we've had resolutions
and revelutions
as people press for execution
evolution

do your part
make a contribution

if your smart
you can see past the media
or what the goverments feedin ya

i fuel the nation
with some brain food ,information
they forget to provide

cant catch your breath when you ride
adding stress to ya sides

adding stretch to ya side
loves,candles , passion
a girl who knows how to handle herself an a sense of fashion
not the type who wants to cash in
but who feels attraction
to be real with ones actions
never fake
never brake
never take what you dont need to survive
only take if you need to feed your tribe
the professor prescribe's
hooked on phonics
well the even the goverments hooked on cronic
yea its medicinal
legalize from federal to municpal
gettin out on bail
getting out of jail
is like letting out a wail
a scream of joy
in prison even your dreams are paranoid
you got a pair a boys
but its an apparent void of friendship
bermuda grave yards where posiedon sends ships
people are angry i can sense it
they cant express what to say so i condense it
every sentense spit
the intense ****
girls are a powerful narcotics
when they know theve got it
moving there hips erotic
its hipnotic
cause every move
shows your every groove
knows she's getting eyed by every dude
like she's already nude
jaws drop
awe's dont stop
cause you know this girl wont stop
till her cherry's popped
she's a virgin but she wants it fast
she's a virgin but she want it ass
professor he's emergein she want's his blast
raw like she wants kids
naw she's screaming mike bondage
ravage
the patch of her cabbage
the cements paved
her innocense shaved
into a playboy rabbit
and two words stab it
grab it
fucked so hard her abs spit
and i spew on her breast
with all my flow on her chest
she moves onto her best position
the end of her mission
i took so much out of this girl her ass missin
no ass kissin
or ass fisting
but lets pass this thing
called sex
cause whats done is done next
on the agenda

Add a really dirty beat to that, and it's in it's element. I liked it, partly because there were things in it I didn't want to hear about. Smile

preaching to the stones
laughing with the wind
in my madness all alone
seeking to make amends
then you bring me gladness

dangling from a line
bungied by myself
and i served the ball just fine
the return's on the shelf
but you brought me gladness

I keep getting messages of error from time to time when trying to connect with A2K. Sometimes it happens when I'm already logged on.

Only just saw this thread and am in the spirit today
My heart is full and I have a lot to say...

Will be standing at my aunt's grave in a few hours
Makes me think about life and death and all that's in between
Is all that remains a couple of flowers
Where is she now, what happened to what she's been?

She's had a full life with ups and downs
Bury a child, leave home and friends behind
But there was laughter between tears and frowns
So in the end, in the last hour, what was on her mind?

I hope she thought life was worth being lived
I hope my last card made her smile
I hope we all value her past as a gift
When we stand on her grave in a little while

we marshial our troops, the new revolution, stand for those standing in graves of pollution.the veil will be broken "in thirteen years..." but we don't hear their crying,or feel their tears. fighting babylon with all that we are; a small steel drum and an old guitar.

Welcome to Edgar's poetry safe house, Chris. He's got problems with his computer at the present time - or he would have welcomed you himself I'm sure.
