Waiting for the phone to ring
waiting for that ding-a-ling
so I can get that ole 'bling bling'
waiting for the phone...

The mist rolled over the hills this morn,
And there it has remained,
I love to see the sun in August,
And so I must complain.

The migrant must roam,
But in his mind's eye
Sees etherial home:
Note that secret sigh.

Ever strong and stoic,
With backs like granite;
Efforts heroic,
On Scarab's Planet.

Don't want that smirking,
corporate front-man,

I've joined a grassroots
throng for
People-powered Howard

Waving wildly to thinkzinc,
So nice to see you post here,
Gliding around on the ice rink,
A breath of fresh air; quiet, clear.

And speaking of refreshing, Edgar and jjorge, both poems though quite different in nature, were clear and crisp. Loved them!

Every day an agony,
nobody understands my pain...

Of course I do, red. The beauty of being spontaneous, it's not expected to read like Shakespeare. But I like this stuff better than many great poems.

I LOVED the titillating tale
You told about the missing bra,
But naturally... I, being male,
must fantasize about that car
and what ocurred that recent night,
(I can almost hear you wail
in anguish and delight!)

So tell the truth my dear
about your little (or was it big?) brassiere,

Was it really, really lost?
...or was it eagerly disgarded?
(maybe in a frenzy tossed
outside onto the ground?)
Don't worry dear, don't fret
about how you will be regarded,
