During the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza, the labourers worked at the King's Chamber, the Queen's Chamber or the Grand Gallery. Each labourer had worked on at least one of the three sites.
Of the 12932 who had worked for a period of five years or more, 7158 had worked on the King's Chamber, 5931 on the Queen's Chamber and 6480 on the Grand Gallery; 2735 had worked on the King's Chamber and the Queen's Chamber, 2852 on the Queen's Chamber and the Grand Gallery and 2986 on the King's Chamber and the Grand Gallery.
How many had worked on all the three sites?
@rohtarantula,
oh guessing when faud 1 died 1936
Sum of three sets
Total number of all three=number on kings+number on queens+Number on Grand-Number on Kings and Queens-Number on Kings and Grand- number on Queens and Grand+Number on Kings, Queens and Grand
putting in thew numbers and solving for X (number of all three)
12932=7158+5931+6430-2735-2986-2852+x
12952=10936+x
x=12952-10936=1996
or 1996 worked on all three galleries.
Rap
what about the ones working for less than 5 years?
