Basic reality for people to the right of center like myself is that we're going to be paying for some sort of such welfare one way or another and I'd for damned certain rather be paying for American kids to be able to start families here than for Mexican illegals to be here in the "anchor baby" business

Somebody should tell Gunga Dim that his expression "Basic reality is . . . " has gotten terribly shopworn, and that he should do something to improve his screeds stylistically--as in coming up with a different expression to introduce his entirely unsubstantiated statements from authority, an authority we have no reason to assume he possesses.

I've never done that but there is a powerful psychological theory that says that preventing sexually mature females from fulfilling their biological determinants because they have not reached a puritan age of consent causes them all sorts of mental problems which then cause physiological problems. An age of consent, particularly one of 18, is an entirely Christian invention. Such things are unheard of in evolution. And in many other cultures and even our own in previous centuries.

Set looks stupid as a proponent of evolution theory who then comes over as a good Christian when his righteous indignation needs some exercise.
