Can anyone advise me on how I can delete individual items from a CD-RW disk? I am running Windows XP, and using the built in program I can only delete the entire disc, do I need some additional software to delete single items, if so can you recomend a suitable program I can buy?
I'm partial to Roxio's EZ-CD Creator and to Nero's Nero Burning Rom ... I use 'em both, depending on what I'm doing. There's quite a bit of overlap, but each has unique features of occasional use to me in particular situations. Both are downloadable at their parent website. Cheaper apps exist, but a cheap tool often turns out to be a poor investment. Not many folks have any need for both, in fact both have features some folks will rarely if ever use. I'd say go with whichever one you're comfortable with ... either will more than do the job for the typical home user.

Your advice is much appreciated

as to doing it in xp without any new investments or apps -- just copy the contents of the cd-rw to your desktop, make any changes there, and re-burn the cd. it really doesn't take that much time.
Thanks Patiodog
Why didnt I think of that?
Thanks a bunch

Heck, anything I drag to my desktop is in grave danger of disappearing among all the rest of the "New Folders" already cluttering it
Yo Timbo
as a greenhorn my desktop is relatively uncluttered
and Ill try anyhing once [twice if I like it]
