LOL!
Glad SOMEONE else likes Manhattan.....
This was neat, dlowan. I realized my favorite Woodies are lesser knowns, except for Annie Hall.
Interiors--Manhattan Murder Mystery--Deconstructing Harry--Small Time Crooks--I sort of liked "Alice", as well.
Hmmmmmm - I don't know as I have seen "Deconstructing Harry" - might be worth getting it seems.
I've been trying to pin down my favourite Woody Allen movies since I first saw the thread. I still can't. Everytime I get it down to 2, I think of something that pushes another one onto the list. I was up to 7 on my favourite 2 list last night. Let's just say I quite enjoy Woody Allen. Generally prefer the older to the newer, but that is extremely changeable, depending on the phase of the moon.
I still laugh out loud just thinking about some of the scenes in Take the Money and Run. Woody playing the cello in the high school marching band--schlepping a chair in a parade. And the argument about the handwriting in the bank stick-up note. "I have a gub."
Some of Woody's later movies were better--more coherent, more people-oriented. But Take the Money still does it for me.
And "Everything You ever wanted to Know About Sex But were Afraid to Ask"
Was that the one here Gene Wilder played the psychiatrist who threw everything over for his sheep?
It was, truth to speak, a VERY attractive sheep, as I recall...
Haven't seen Deconstructing Harry?!?!? What the hell is wrong with you?
That's no excuse! My rabbi has seen it!
Oh, wait, you said rabbit...
Lucky I can work the video with these paws...
I saw Gene Wilder in an interview. The sheep's name was Daisy, and she was a real natural beauty.
