I love Wim Wenders - but this beautiful, ethereal, yearning film is my favourite.
Anyone else out there love it? Hate it? Why?
I have never been able to watch the American remake through (what was it? City of Angels? I loved the angels at the beach in that film, though!) - am I being too sniffy?
In never saw Wings, but the extreeeeeeeeme close ups in City of Angels drove me nuts.
Not my favorite film. It was OK, puts you in some nice, ethereal mood, but that's about it.
Wim Wenders not my favorite director either.
I have been told that the American remake sucks big time.
Hmmm - it seems I Wim alone....
