I downloaded a game and then deleted it. It's possible I deleted something I shouldn't have. Now everything is gigantic. Home page icons. This screen. Also it appears that all my automatic connections are gone. I entered a for able2know. Nothing happened.

How do I fix this??!!

I can redo the connections, but the size is crazy.

my first guess would be to check your display settings, sometimes games will change your resolution, most times it should return to presets but not always

@Roberta,
Are you using Internet Explorer?

I'm sure there's an easier way to handle this but I usually go to system restore when I have an incident like this.

I find System Restore through All Programs (in my start-up menu) then Accessories then System Tools.

@Roberta,
Hey gal.... yep.... I'd change the display settings back. When little fella goes on some games, it throws the display out.

Change the settings via the control panel..... display / screen resolution.

@Izzie,
Will re-setting the display bring back the browser history (the a for a2k thing)?

@Roberta,
I would opt for the system restore.

I tried some of the things you guys suggested.

Just turned on the computer. Everything appears to be the way it was. Size. Stored stuff.

I don't know whether I did something that will come back to haunt me, but for now, I'm tiptoeing away. But not before I say thanks to you all--except for Dys and the Katz deli remark.

Oh good! Very Happy

Glad it wasn't anything incredibly difficult to fix, Roberta!

If everything is working, as you mentioned in a previous post, then leave it as is.

I think that diazed111 was talking about a system restore. This was mentioned in an earlier post as a suggested fix.
