The Perdue University puzzle

Instructions:
Step 1...
Peruse the images in the gallery and select your choice.

Step 2...
When an enlargement of your selected image appears, select the level
of difficulty desired. We suggest trying simple for your first game
to become familiar with the operation of the game.

Click on the area of the puzzle to become the blank piece. We suggest
a corner or background piece.

When the scrambled image appears, click on a square adjacent to the
empty or blank square.

Repeat step five until you have the image returned to it's original
composition.

To Play The Computer

Select an image and a level of difficulty.

Select Unscramble

Key in the number of moved you want the computer to use in
scrambeling the images.

Try to solve the puzzle in the same number of moves.

On the easy level I can do it but more trial and error than anything. I don't think Doctor Stephen Hawking could do it on the hardest setting.

Of course it's not beyond the realms of possibility that I'm not seeing the big picture. (No pun intended)

The hardest one wasn't that bad. . . 5x4 grid. Of course, I chose a picture that was rather simple.

I like doing those number grid puzzle thingies. . . helps out.
