I have a constant running - Kodak Software Updater Agent - I would like to know why this is running all the time. I don't even know what it is. Please explain to me what it is & why running. Thank you! Joan

It is an update program by backweb that is bundled with the Kodak camera software. The purpose of the program is to check for updates to the Kodak software. This can use a lot of your resources. Kodak does mention it in their EULA, but most people don't bother reading the full licence information on programs.

This is not a virus or malware, but it does border on malware since it does the same thing but without harmful intent. Unless you really want the software running, I would recommend that you delete it. You don't need this particular program for your camera files.
