Some people believe that cartoons are more than amusement; they are persuaded that they can contribute not only to children’s development, but also to children’s life overview.
Cartoons permit children to learn how to behave, and how to react to life surprises. Moreover, cartoons are full of heroes who can be used as models.
1. If 'life overview' correct? Shouldn't it be 'overview of lives'?
2. Is 'life surprises' correct? Shouldn't it be' surprises in life'?
3. Is 'overview" correctly used? If not, what is the correct word?
Many thanks.
@tanguatlay,
1. If 'life overview' correct? Shouldn't it be 'overview of lives'?
Yes, it's fine, Tan. It isn't each child's view of multiple lives. It's each child's view of their own life.
2. Is 'life surprises' correct? Shouldn't it be' surprises in life'?
Yes. It could also be 'surprises in life' and it could also be 'the surprises of life'.
3. Is 'overview" correctly used? If not, what is the correct word?
overview is fine.

Yes. It could also be 'surprises in life' and it could also be 'the surprises of life'.
Is 'life surprises' also correct? Sorry for being slow in understanding. That is one of my problems as English is not my first language.
Thanks in advance.
