Hello,

I would like to know if there's something wrong with the structure of person 2's sentence in this context. Personally, I dont see anything wrong with it because i see it as some kind of retort or a way to mimick someone in a stupid way. However, I would still like to hear the thoughts of native speakers.

Here:
Person 1: You're bad at this game.
Person2: I don't care.
Person1: You do. Since you're typing
Person 2: ah, yes! I do care just because I am typing.

I would also like to know if there is a term for this type of response.

@Rox111,
That dialog is something that could easily occur in normal speech. Taken out of context the phrase, I do care just because I am typing, wouldn't convey the meaning it carries in this example. I would term the response "ironic sarcasm".
