If a man walks up to you and says - "everything I say to you is a lie."
Is he telling you the truth or is he lying?
Dont strain ur brain
Fish.
(you said not to strain)
If u know it give me ur answer codeborg, u get 1 try
I know its pretty easy though
its easy, The riddle is a paradozx; no logical answer because if the man is saying everything he tells you is a lie, he is telling you the truth, because saying the truth makes it a lie, but its true that everything he told you is a lie.... you get the idea. It goes on ferever.
He's lying. Not everything he says is a lie, just some things. That is one of them.
so .... what's the answer?
listen ppl. paradox- a riddle with no logical answer. He is telling the truth, because he told you a lie, because what he said was true, and what he said that was true was that everything he said was a lie. You get it. NO LOGICAL ANSWER!!!
Surely, it is only a paradox if the only possible options are he always tells the truth or he always lies. There is a third option - he sometimes tells the truth and sometimes lies.
the thing is, It's neither. Because he is both telling you the truth and lying. Because he is lying by telling you that he always lies, cause that is the truth. and by telling you the truth he is lying. It's a never ending cycle.
