You wrote too long.Maybe i am not the man armed with patience, but i can guess that you have been focussing on the Women's United Soccer Association.
In my opinion,i don't think really many people are concentrating upon the women's football, after all,the firece and exciting game belongs mostly to men.Because this activity needs strength, speed and passion.I don't mean that women are lacking in these stuffs but a little unsuitable.
Thus only a few sponsors will sponsor the women's football,so they won't gain enough money to have the game underway.maybe the failure is just a problem of time.
But let all of us pray for another spring.
Due to the Women's United Soccer Association failure, four Chinese top players returned home including Sunwen and so on.
Tears in the eyes but not down.
koolplay, the demise of the WUSA had nothing to do with China's early exit from the WWC'03, unless you count the extra play that the Canadians got through the summer. China pulled every one of their WUSA players back to the Chinese leagues this past year, allegedly so that their coach could better train the squad. They looked slow and predictable.
There are ongoing discussions about a shortened WUSA season for next year, ending prior to the Olympics. Just a small matter of $12M - $15M in sponsorship.
