CHOCOLATE EARTHQUAKE CAKE
(Just in time for children to make for a Halloween party)
Adapted by BumbleBeeBoogie
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 3.5 ounce can sweetened flaked coconut
1 chp chopped walnuts
1/4 cup butter
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 16-ounce box confectioner's powdered sugar
Prheat the over at 350' F. Grease a 9" x 12" baking pan.
Prepare the cake batter according the the cake mix package directions.
Melt the butter in a large bowl in a microwave oven. Stir in the softened cream cheese. Add the powdered sugar and stir to blend.
Spread the chopped nuts and the coconut over the bottom of the baking pan.
Pour the cake batter over the nuts and coconut.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
Bake for 40 to 42 minutes on the center rack of your oven.
The cake will be sticky and the creamed cheese topping will sink to the bottom of the baking pan, resulting in a gooey white ribbon throughout the cake.
When cool, cut the cake into squares and lift out of the pan with a spatula.
Optionally serve with with a spoon of whipped cream topped with chocolate chips or, for Halloween, candy corn.

@himalipatel,
Perhaps in the future you might want to look at time and date stamps of threads. This thread is pretty dead as it is 10 yrs old.
@Ragman,
I don't mind people opening old threads, some of them get started again, but I fear our poster wants to sell us something, from his post history. On the other hand, maybe he doesn't get selling something here is a no no, and wants to participate in conversation.
@Ragman,
ok, ok, no doubt you're right.
All this spam stuff is too bad. Ordinary people can't ask a simple question.
@ossobuco,
I think it is a shame...a spammin' shame.
