One thing I must concur, the English term 'spiritual' is inadequate in it's definition. I am not much for other languages, but perhaps there is a non-English word that sums up the concept of 'spiritual' as some of us see it better?

Ayahausca! It is not the word, because of the many meanings(vine of the sould most improtantly) it has. But almost all reports have something of a trancendental spiritual nature. Most lore speculate that it is the vines spirit speaking to the consumer. Ive read accounts of very skeptal scientists(who were sober during the ceremony) that profess the actual obserbance of spirit rising from the body of the patient. This is some sort of an exorcism that is conducted on a spiritualy afflicted indivdual. Accounts can be found in all parts of the world, with widely varying practices among differing cultures.

I have yet to experience myself, but I hope to prove this on my own accounts.
