On the top right of this forum I always see a very high number of people 'online' from around 350-500, every time I visit. However almost every thread/posts are posted by the usual bunch (10-15) of well known old timers (you know who you are). A small gang of people have ambushed this forum .. so who/where are the rest of the people ? Is there a bug in this forum ?
@Zippo,
There is a forum help category, zippo. This question has been asked and answered a lot. Some of those numbers are people just reading, some are people not registered seeing the site and reading for the first time, and some are bots scoping out the site.
@ossobuco,
So why does it say "xxx people online" ? misleading word ?
I just want to know how many are 'logged' online. The rest is bull...
@Zippo,
Here's a thread, for example.

Well, they're online users, and some are people.
@ossobuco,
Okay thanks. But I still dont buy it though. This place has no more then 50 regular users and at least 25-30 are most boring attention seekers.
I'd also like to know why it takes so long for posts to get on. Click on Popular Topics or New Posts - they are from days ago!
@sullyfish6,
My new posts page is fine.
