I think they give it to them for the calcium? But what do I know, I'm allergic to everything with fur and feathers - hence, I have no knowledge about pets...

Okay, next question:

Name the date, location, and singer for the first occasion of the singing of The Star-Spangled Banner.

The first public performance of the words and music together took place at the Holliday Street Theatre in Baltimore on October 19, 1814. A Mr. Hardinge sang the song after a performance of the play, Count Benyowsky. Although it gradually became popular as a patriotic air, the "Star-Spangled Banner" did not become our national anthem until 1931, when it was so designated by an Act of Congress.

This periodical claims to have the greatest distribution of any other in America.

Who is on the current cover and what is he holding in his mouth?

I think the answer is TV Guide, but their website shows the current issue having four covers of Lord of the Rings stars, none of whom have anything in his mouth... Am I warm? Just on the wrong week, maybe?

Nope. Not TV Guide.

Change distribution to circulation. (Technically is there a differance?)

Hmm. Oh, btw, the salmon treats is right. People are weird; they wouldn't spend the time to make dinner for their families, but have no problem baking for their pets. :-D

Eeek, circulation. Could it be Readers' Digest? If I'm right, I don't have the time to research it further, so I pass on my turn ('course, I could be totally wrong, and that could be moot. Helfino).

Not National Geographic.

Hint: Mac guessed TV Guide, which was wrong, but the person has most likely been on the cover of TV guide many, many times.
