No...sfogliatelle, sfogliatelle, yes?
For me? You know I've gotta say Canolli?
You know, some day I'll have to try to make one?
Did you know Canollis are not easy to get in LA?
Have you ever been to Farrara's Bakery in NY's Little Italy?
Would you believe I posted the following on the wrong thread and just found out?:
Do you know I'm hungry and there is nothing to eat?
Did you know the grocery clerks are on strike here?
--And I'm just too lazy to go out to get something?
Did you know they had them at Sorrento's in Culver City (maybe that is why I don't like them best?) and probably have them at Bay Cities in Santa Monica? Hmm, I wonder if they do....they were going to start up an online business last time I was in there, wouldn't that be great, cannoli by mail?
Can I say that while working with Jamie Kennedy at Palmerston, we made a chocolate canolli filled with fresh raspberries and chocolate mousse? Can I say my great aunt took her knish recipe to her grave?
Does fealola not know that for baklava, all you need to do is buy a good phyllo from a reputable Greek bakery?
do you know Dunkin' Donughnuts has good coffee as well as great sugar raised doughnuts?
does anyone else wonder if dys has been inhaling?
When I first gained weight, back in school-yet-again-while-still-working-forty-hours in the early eighties, it was from stopping on my way at a donut place (Winchell's, ick) and getting two. And then another day three. And then
four.
Bad.
But it was NEVER for the coffee.
Did you know that Dys is so skinny that he HAS to eat fattening foods? Do you understand how unfair that is???????????????
Should we kidnap cav and keep him hidden away and have him cook all his luscious repertoire?
My cousin is ethereally skinny and always has been. We are very much alike, except that she has tried to chase down her unorganized self and strap it into progress notes, and I dither on in my own way... but we have a lot in common. Except, I haven't been skinny for decades. Metabolic pathways.... plus, I suppose, activity level - though my cousin and my activity level over the years are reasonably similar.
Yeah, Osso, metaboolism, activity level, plus, I just eat too damn much. An addiction to sweets is a life-long problem.
Yes, especially in candy stores..
Is that a question about candy stores?
Did you know I found a wonderful place in Escanaba, Michigan that makes homemade candy and Green Bay Puddles?
What are Green Bay Puddles?
Diane and I once went to a candy store together, didn't we, Diane?? (where I lost my umbrella...)
Next time can I come with you ? If I promise to look after yr umbrella ?
Is it odd that I'm curious too?
