Do you like the idea of a global sing-along? Very Happy
Can anyone say you've ever had a better idea?

What could anyone say to a child who found that mysterious piece of mail in the car and gave it to mom?

O, don't you know that I have had many better ideas? What would you think should be said to the child?

What do you think the song should be, anyway? We could even have a karaoke afterwards, how about that?

How about singing for your "Sushi".
That should be popular in Japan!

Go, on, Bo, shouldn't you choose the song?

Is that Audrey Hepburn, annifa? What time IS it there? Don't I believe that from my other English friends that your time is 5 hours ahead of my time (EST-Eastern Standard Time)? If it's 11pm here now, is it really 4am where you are? You ARE nocturnal, aren't you?!

roly-poly fish heads; fish heads, fish heads,
eat them up, yum." Laughing

A
Do you know, I always imagined that that song was from my nightmares and nowhere else? But, good job; shouldn't we all sing? Especially Annifa?

It's 4-15 over here, ok? I'm feeling quite lively at this hour, am I not? (I'm over in England because of my speaking at a funeral a few days' back, but I'm off to Paris tomorrow..)

OK... shall we carry on with the song?

Do I wish you bon voyage a Pari'? But of course I do, don't I?!

A, vous savez que je vous estime, n'est-ce pas? Bo's not here, but when he comes, he can choose; but you can choose until then, can't you?

Aren't there just too many too choose from? Does my head not 'spin' at the thought? Where did this topic of karoake originate in this thread? I wasn't here for that was I? ...Tune in for more exciting questions on ....(soap opera organ music)...

Im here again am it not? Devriesj, i say you are rather clever arent you? for yes, it is Audrey Hepburn... it isnt me thats for sure!.. (isnt it?)

It is no longer late at night, (t'was 1am when i submitted earlier post *yawn*) rather early evening, a most pleasant time of day wouldnt you agree?

I would love to join in the sing song, however the neighbours would have me arrested for breaching the peace wouldnt they!?

Ah, go on, Annifa; if not, you will have to suffer my singing, and that would be very bad for your inner ear, wouldn't it?

Do you know that I am laughing like a nutter right now, Dev? The karaoke idea came derived from talking about Witchita; isn't it amazing how topics flow?

I'm afraid I must flatly refuse, my 'singing' voice has taken out a restraining order against me, hasn't it?

Bah; I suppose that I should try, then?

*Starts to strum guitar (not imaginary, but I may as well include this pointless bracket to end on a question mark, no?*

Make a move with what you can
Dead waters rise higher than your mind
Disappointment is a feather in your cap
You want the truth so you can crush it in your hand

There's no map that can tell you where you are
You're in between things and only go half way
Your tangled brain, your tired old refrain
You'll be singing it in your tired old asylum

You want the best, you want contests
My eyes are filled with prizes you've been showing
Your disappointment is a card up your sleeve
Place your bets at the door before you leave...

Suffer your singing voice? i daresay i do not know what u mean, do i?

My inner ear is not at all offended (it told me so, didnt it?)

Please excuse my repeated attempts to ask u if u agree with me, i am simply to lazy to phrase my meanings in any other way as to form a question, arent i?

Do you not know that half questions here are agreement forms? There's nothing wrong with them at all, is there all?

O, so your inner ear liked my singing? Will you send my thanks to it?

I will do my best to, only they may not arrive untill the middle of next week.. Royal Mail are useless aren't they?

I could, of course, have your thanks sent direct to my inner ear by FedEx, however that would cost an arm and a leg, wouldnt it?

Very Happy! Won't it be worth it so that I don't appear ungrateful? Do you know that I have an awful fear of offending people's bodily crevices? -- If you don't want to waste so much, I could just trick FedEx into confusion by reciting out passages from 'Much ado about nothing,' couldn't I?

I would hate for you to appear ungrateful drom, therefore will do my utmost to ensure that your thanks are delivered safely, wont i?

I could perhaps make a quick telephone call to inform said inner ear of your gratitude? this i think would be a much speedier solution, and calls are only 5 1/2 pence for an hour on good old British Telecom, arent they? I'm sure it will take an hour or so to fully express to my inner ear the thanks that you wish to be communicated to it, as its appreciation of your delightful song is ever so much to be thankful for, isnt it? ;-)
