The Great Tennessee Marijuana Cave

Quote:
Under this ordinary house is a marijuana grow-op unlike any you have ever seen. Within the caves of middle Tennessee, growers constructed a complex of offices, living quarters, restroom facilities, and a climate-controlled forest of over one thousand cannabis plants.

@Robert Gentel,
They probably got caught because their electricity use was over the norm for a residence .In Pa, theyve set up profile data bases and have been successful at getting search warrants based on e usage.

They're also using Helicopters to take thermal images of homes, looking for unusual heat signatures and exhaust vents. (I have friends in the FBI)

@Merry Andrew,
When you said "Thanx for the tip",,, exactly why did you thank me ? I hope that you arent in the agribusiness end of marijuana. They have lots of tools to root out meth labs, marijuana farms, etc. i suppose that many more get through than are caught but, Im really not sure of the ratios.

You could grow one or two plants and not be found out but, big time ops, I dont know

up in tai chi's neck of the woods, some pretty smart grow op guys had covered all the bases except one

the rented space in a closed down molson's brewery, they said they were going to use the empty tanks to raise tropical fish, this, the police explained would have quite nicely covered excessive use of hydro or water, everything was pretty well sorted except for one thing, the only people coming and going were fully patched bikers from a well known bike gang, this aroused the suspicion of other people who had rented space in the plant and eventually the police got curious
