When I google my name I get http://www.joycecrane.com/index.htm

As you can see, I used to be involved in steel erections, but have found my niche in heavy rigging equipment...4 locations to serve you.

I actually called them once and said "hey, I have the same name as your company!"

they were less than impressed.

Even enclosed in quotation marks, my name returns 13,300 entries.

I went through the pages, scanning the abstracts. I got to page 29 before I found
one that was actually a reference to me.

Hmmm, I found that my first name . . . . in computer science. . . .is a model of coordination and communication among several parallel processes operating upon objects stored in ...

Interesting since for most of my adult life I have been a communications specialist among other things. But then I often feel like I'm living simultaneously in multiple parallel universes.

Under my real name, three pages about me in Google. Under my BumbleBeeBoogie name, many for A2K and several for other forums such as Huffington Post, etc.

My name is more common than I realized. On the third Google results page I found an actual reference to me. I was acknowledged in a scientific research article for helping the author collect data. (As a college student, I had a part time job as a lab assistant for a biology professor.) If you would like to read the article where I am mentioned briefly, the title is: "Non-Equivalence for Bean Seeds of Clockwise and Counterclockwise Magnetic Motion: A Novel Terrestial Adaptation?" (Biological Bulletin, June 1975)

....if you don't care to read the article, maybe we can wait until they make it into a movie. Smile

Then, maybe just look at the pictures: diagrams of the experimental design, scatterplot graphs showing data.
