This Pink Floyd piece starts off slow, but if you get past the first minute or so, the bass line is great:

I thought that was Howard Devoto - this is Magazine not Floyd.

Anyway, I've always had a thing for raga-ish groovy bass lines like this:


Will try and find epitome of Bill Laswell's bass work too.
