Quite a few quakes today on the northern half of California...
Interesting that Mammoth Lakes is being active again. For a year or two before the Loma Prieta quake, that area was very active, to the point that seismologists were speculating about volcanic activity in the area. Hope this is not another precursor to a similar quake.

Interesting full map of the activity in California. It is as if the plates and faults can't decide whether to move on the west or the east side of the Central Valley. I wonder if the two sides are expanding, causing the valley floor to further sink.
